Cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time, or failure to attend without notice (no-show), will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.

The Body Reset Clinic reserves the right to request payment in advance, particularly during busy periods, for online bookings, or where appointment demand is high.

Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes, we work with the following private medical Insurers: AXA, WPA, Aviva, Vitality and Healix. Please call our reception team for details on how we work with insurance companies and which therapists are registered.

What do I need to wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area being treated. You may need to remove some layers for treatment, but you will always be covered appropriately.

What can I expect from my initial appointment?

During your initial appointment, your Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist will begin with a thorough discussion about the reason for your visit, your health history, lifestyle, and your treatment goals.

Next, your therapist will carry out a detailed assessment. This may include observing your posture and movement, measuring your range of motion, performing specialised tests if needed, and palpating the affected area to evaluate muscles, joints, ligaments, and other structures involved.

All of this information helps us make an accurate diagnosis and develop an effective treatment plan tailored to your specific muscle, joint, or nerve-related concerns.

Can I have acupuncture without an assessment?

Acupuncture and Dry Needling are often used as part of a broader Physiotherapy treatment plan to help support your recovery and get the best results. If you are already an existing patient under our care, your therapist will assess your condition during your session and decide if acupuncture is appropriate for you.

However, if you are new to the clinic, returning with a new issue, or haven’t been seen in over 6 months, we will need to book you in for a new assessment first. This helps us fully understand your condition and ensure acupuncture is safe and suitable for your needs.

Can I have shockwave treatment without an assessment?

To make sure Shockwave Therapy is right for you, we will always need to carry out an assessment first, especially if you are new to the clinic, coming in with a different issue, or haven’t seen us in over 6 months.

If you are already having treatment with us, your therapist can decide whether shockwave is suitable as part of your ongoing care. It is important we understand your condition properly so we can deliver the safest and most effective treatment for you.

Can you look at 2 separate issues in the same appointment?

We aim to provide a thorough assessment and effective treatment within the time you have booked. If you have two separate issues you would like us to look at, we will always do our best to help, especially during longer appointments.

That said, it’s important to be realistic. Properly assessing and treating two areas can take time, particularly during an initial assessment. If you are coming in with more than one concern, we recommend booking a 60-minute initial appointment, which is better suited for spinal or multiple injuries. This gives your therapist a better chance to assess both areas fully and provide some treatment.

Shorter sessions, like 30 or 45 minutes, are generally more appropriate for a single issue, and may not allow enough time to cover both areas in detail.

If you are unsure which appointment length is right for you, feel free to get in touch. Our team is happy to help guide you before booking.

Is it possible to receive treatment for the same condition without undergoing a new assessment if more than six months have passed since my last appointment?

To ensure the highest standard of care and patient safety, a new assessment is required if more than six months have elapsed since your previous appointment, even if you are seeking treatment for the same condition. Significant changes can occur in your health or circumstances during this time, which may affect your diagnosis or treatment needs. A comprehensive reassessment allows us to accurately evaluate your current status, identify any new factors, and develop the most appropriate and effective treatment plan tailored to your needs.

This approach helps us provide safe, up-to-date care and ensures the best possible outcomes for your recovery.
